If you don’t possess social graces then this guide is the ticket! Don’t worry people! This article is made just for you.

Everyone has a clue that you are expected to bring a little something something to a house warming party, don’t you? If you’re like me, you didn’t even consider an offering until you arrive at the party. What went wrong?

It is very important that when you attend a get-together such as a dinner party, housewarming, or holiday event, you show the party giver that you are thankful for the time, effort, and money that went into the party. One of the best ways to make the party giver feel special is to offer a gift. Beverages are the primary choice for many. Wine is a classy choice, but if the hosts are not drinkers (or worse, alchies), you could be in trouble. The next option is gourmet coffee. I would suggest organic, Fair Trade coffees, such as those from Nectar of Life Coffee. They have a amazing selection on-line with every roast level imaginable. Making an exotic fruit drink from locally grown produce is always a stand out alternative! If you’re still in considering finding the perfect drink gift, you may want to consider fruit teas. They are a sure crowd pleaser, with little to boohoo about. They are filled with antioxidants, sweet, but not sugary and they have almost no caffeine. Right now, Constant Comment Raspberry is making it’s way into every batch of iced tea that I create.

By now you’re probably wondering, “what’s up with all the drink ideas?” So for you, we continue. Chips and salsa are always a crowd pleaser. You’ve got salty crunch and spicy twang. What’s not to love? Presentation is everything, but don’t go overboard. You can find inexpensive, plastic serving dishes at just about any store, or garage sale. If you ever come across a good deal on serving dishes, stock up for future events. Enclose a card with a gracious “thank you for the party”.

Perhaps food and drink aren’t your thing. In that event you could bring flowers or a coffee gift basket. Just remember, to be yourself, and don’t let the gift giving prevent you from enjoying the party. You can always bring a hug and a smile! Remember, no gift is complete without your personalized, and lovingly autographed card. Not only is it a good idea, but it cements the idea that you did bring a gift!

If you’re still at a loss for what to bring to an event, then may I suggest that you check out http://www.NectarOfLife.com for a coffee gift basket? You can’t go wrong with Nectar of Life. Not only are they a organic coffee roaster and artisan, but they specialize in organic Fair Trade coffee.
